Ember's third litter
After several years of planning, Ember was joined with Ozzy from Goldkingsley Golden Retrievers and in late October delivered 9 beautiful Murraygoldens: 7 males and 2 females. Once again, Ember did another amazing job creating 9 healthy pups of very even weights and she was very attentive to their every need.
This is a special litter for us as we have decided to keep one of Ember's daughters , which we have named, Murraygold Nova. We have high hopes that Nova will continue our Murraygold genetic line, once Ember is retried from breeding

From Digby's owners -- Hi! My name is Rose (puppy mum) my husband is Gary (puppy dad) and our puppy is Digby. I first met Karen in our neighbourhood walking her delightful trio of Golden Retrievers - I fell in love with them straight away 😍. When Digby was born my husband and I were on a big trip to WA in our caravan returning in early October. This left us with a dilemma of how we were going to choose our puppy. Luckily our son and his fiancée already have a Golden Retriever and we asked them if they could choose for us 🤣. They were delighted, excited and a little bit worried about the RESPONSIBILITY 😯. But as it happened Karen and Tim had done a tremendous job thinking about which of the puppies would best fit into our home. They suggested Mr Brown collar ….. and they thought he was PERFECT 😍. Digby came to live with us, just up the road from Karen, Tim and all the Goldies. At first he was an ‘only puppy’. He got lots and lots of cuddles, kisses and undivided attention. Life was GREAT 😃. One day he got to visit the Goldie family again and spent the day playing nonstop with Nova and sleeping under Tim’s desk 😎. His new mum and dad picked him up in the afternoon and - guess what? There was another puppy in the car 😯. Digby wasn’t sure about this 😥.
She bit his ears, pounced on his head and chewed his tail 😂. That was in the first minute. In the second minute Digby lay on top of her, pinched her toy and licked her chops. They were now BEST friends. Digby and Daisy. Life is full of play and learning new things. Everyone they meet love Digby and Daisy. We hope all of puppies are just as happy and spread just as much joy as Digby in his new family. 🙏

From Leo's owners -- Karen and Tim are responsible breeders who look after every puppy with love and patience, understand their needs and personalities, and match them to their forever home. Leo is a careful, gentle and loyal boy. He loves kangaroo, venison and lamb lung treats. After the first week, he has learned to greet us in the crate with a wagging tail, sit down, wait for the treat and respond to his name. He has full attention to us and follows us around. I'd highly recommend Karen and Tim to anyone who is also looking for a goldie baby!

From Lucifer's owners -- What a magical week it has been. Lucifer has settled in really well and already grown so much! There wasn’t any crying the first night after leaving his family. Very relaxed and confident in his new surroundings. He has not had a single accident through the night and always communicated with me when he needs to go out. There have only been accidents through the day when I have missed the signs or gone out for a couple of hours. He will put himself outside to go potty when the backyard door is open. Very receptive to positive reinforcement during training. We’ve learnt a few commands and are getting good at walking on the lead. Billy (the cat) and Lucifer are learning to get along with each other in shared spaces with baby gates and pens sectioning of spaces for Billy to find peace. Lucifer already understands “gentle” and they had their first nose boop yesterday which melted my heart. It was Billy that initiated it! Lucifer loves to chew and I’m learning to have 199 different chewing options on hand to distract him from gnawing on my hands and face. He also loves to take naps on the couch with me when he’s tired. His favourite toy to play with in the backyard is probably the frisbee! He will run and fetch it more than any other toy. He’s not at all anxious when it comes to noises from traffic, my robot vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, washing machine, and even the thunderstorm we had Friday night. It’s testament to the calm and loving environment he was raised in before coming home! Lucifer is very confident to explore new environments and interact with new people and other dogs. He met my best friend’s two dogs yesterday and they had a wonderful time playing together. If I leave the house I monitor his movements on a pet camera and after a little whining he settles and occupies himself with toys or puts himself to bed. When I come home he hasn’t gotten overly excited or shown any signs of distress. Very calm and content little man.

Nova -- we are very happy to welcome Nova to our Murraygold family. She has a sweet personality and from a early age seemed to get along with our older dogs so well, almost like she new she would be staying with us. Ember is so happy to have one of her puppies remaining and fusses over her and we often see them playing together in the sun, or I find Nova snuggled up next to her protective Grandmother Lucy. We love that she has been chosen to contintue our Murraygold genetic line once Ember is retired.

From Ruby's owners -- We came across Murraygold Golden Retrievers through a chance encounter at our daughters’ netball game, where we met one of Ember’s beautiful puppies from her first litter. After reaching out to Karen and Tim through their website, we stayed in touch for many months. What set Murraygold apart to us from other breeders was Karen and Tim’s heartfelt care, their dedication and their in depth experience in raising calm, healthy and loving pups. After the pups were born, we looked forward to receiving the weekly “pupdates” where Karen and Tim detailed short clips of Ember and her pups’ progress. We fell in love with Ruby as soon as we met her, she has fitted into our family perfectly. She is our little shadow, very inquisitve, loves cuddles and affection and loves to sit in the kitchen and watch all the action. Her calm and confident demeanor is a testament to not only Karen and Tim’s breeding, but also how they have handled and raised the pups so attentively from day one. From Ryder's owners -- Bringing Ryder into my family has been a wonderful experience! From the moment I met him, he embodied the spirit of his name—full of frolicsome independence and an adventurous soul. Ryder is an energetic and playful puppy who absolutely loves being outdoors, eagerly accompanying us on all our adventures. We are especially grateful to Karen and Tim, who clearly pour their hearts into breeding. Ryder is not only adorable but also a well-balanced, healthy puppy. His physical and behavioural stability is a testament to the care and love he received before joining my family. From Tiger's owners -- We have had the most positive experience from the moment I reached out to Murraygold. Karen’s level of communication exceeded my expectations with weekly updates, photos and videos. At the six week mark we were invited to visit and view the puppies. We were met with smiling faces (and friendly adult dogs) so there was no doubt the puppies were being raised in a loving family home with lots of grass to play. The puppies were so healthy, happy and confident it was very obvious that Karen and Tim dedicate many hours to care for and interact with their dogs. We collected our beautiful little “Tiger” at 8 weeks and brought him home. He couldn’t have settled in better. He is loving, confident, inquisitive but also quite calm. Happy to sit on our lap for a cuddle or curl up nearby on his bed. Karen sent home a blanket, toys and a booklet she produces covering everything we needed to know. I was so grateful to have it, it’s been my bible sitting on the kitchen bench. The meal plan was especially helpful. I am so glad we met Karen and Tim and their beautiful dogs and I’m looking forward to the journey that we will have with our “Tiger”

From Walter's owners -- Walter is a sweet and trusting boy. He loves to be close to us, asking us often for belly rubs and cuddles. He’s calm around new people and sounds and is quite clever at working his puzzle feeder. He has started to show us his lovely manners this week having picked up some basic commands. You’ve matched us so well with our boy. We are so grateful to have him in our lives and look forward to the many years of companionship we will share. We can’t thank you enough, Karen and Tim.
